ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
How can we use clay to demonstrate and record our emotional events through time and space? What are the textures, the weights, and feels of being alive? Clay will reveal the inverse of our shape, recording our negative space. In this workshop, we will use writing, meditation, action, and exploration to create artifacts of our experience. How can we transform memory events into enduring devices of healing and fortitude? Come as a beginner, come with your stories, and come for fun! Starting from a place of introspection and reflection, we will have a chance to explore the honesty of clay and we will do the physical work of making tools for our thriving and surviving. Tea time included!
